Il Nespolo is a newly refurbished apartment, which can sleep up to 7 people, located in the beautiful hills of the Sorrento Coast. The apartment is 105 metres squared and features a large 120 metre terrace, private hot tub, air conditioning, winter heating, WI-FI internet access and a secure parking space or garage.

At Il Nespolo, you will be roughly 100 metres from the centre of the village of Moiano (borough of Vico Equense), where you will find bars, pizzerias and shops. The public bus stop is just opposite and will take you to the train station where you can get a direct train to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples. 10 minutes’ walk from the train station is the closest beach (roughly 8 km away from the apartment). A few minutes’ walk from Il Nespolo, you will find a restaurant, a grocery store (150 metres). From the parking area to the entrance of the apartment, there are 18 steps.

Il Nespolo spacious and welcoming. In the open plan living/dining room, there is a dining table with six chairs and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a small utility room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Il Nespolo has three double bedrooms – one with a king size double bed, one with twin beds or double bed (on request) and one with twin beds. There is also a sofa bed at the property for the 7th guest (on request). The main bedroom has air conditioning and a TV. There is also air conditioning in the corridor which cools down the other two bedrooms. Off the bedrooms, there is a veranda with a table and chairs. There is a bathroom with a shower cubicle, toilet, sink and bidet.

Il Nespolo boasts a large 120 metre square terrace with a table, chairs, sun parasol and three sun loungers. Here you can also enjoy a view of the sea in the distance. There is a private hot tub for up to 6 people (4 adults and 2 children) and also an outdoor shower to cool down during the long, hot summer days. The hot tub is 0.73 metres high and 1.93 metres in diameter. It is available from April to October.

We recommend using a car to stay at this apartment. If you do have one, you will be able to park it below the apartment in a secure parking space or garage (4 metres long, 3 metres wide and 1.9 metres high). We recommend only using a mid-size car.

For guests who love walking and hiking, there are local guides who can accompany you on beautiful walks such as the Path of Gods, a walk to Positano from Santa Maria del Castello and stunning landscape walks in Monte Faito with views of the Bay of Naples. Just ask for more information.

By Car: As you leave Naples   Airport, take the motorway (in italian "autostrada"). Take the A3   motorway following the direction of Salerno-Reggio Calabria. Go straight   as if you are going to Salerno. You should see a sign which indicates   the Penisola Sorrentina (it is Sorrento). You will then reach pay toll   gate on the A3 motorway. You will need to pay € 2 before continuing  your  journey.

There are several exits: Ercolano,  Torre del  Greco, Torre Annunziata, Pompeii. After Pompeii, you will  arrive at a  junction (on the right) for Castellammare di Stabia. There  is another  pay toll gate but you do not have to pay here.

Follow  the signs  for Sorrento. You have to pass through two big tunnels.  Continue to  follow the directions for Sorrento. At a certain point,  there is also a  sign for Vico Equense.

You will arrive at a fork  in the road.  Follow the signs for Vico Equense, from this point, there  are 7 kms to  the property. Ignore any other detour and follow the main  road up to  Moiano.

By Train: Arrive at the Napoli  Centrale  Station of the Ferrovie dello Stato "Piazza Garibaldi" and  take the  Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento, which links Naples to the  Penisola  Sorrentina every 30 minutes. You can reach the Circumvesuviana  trains  at the Napoli Centrale Station via the internal subway. Tickets  cost  about € 3. From Naples to Vico Equense, the journey lasts about 1  hour.  From here, you can arrive at the property by the "Circolare  Sinistra"  Circumvesuviana bus, which links Vico Equense to Moiano.

By Plane: The   airport of Napoli Capodichino is about 50km from from the property.  The  most comfortable and cheapest solution to reach the Penisola  Sorrentina  from the airport is the bus service by the Curreri company,  which links  the airport with Vico Equense (Piazza Kennedy) and Sorrento  by six  daily buses. Take the bus at the "Arrivals" exit of the  airport. The  journey to Vico Equense lasts about 1 hour. From here,  take the  "Circolare Sinistra" Circumvesuviana bus to Moiano.

"We had a wonderful 5 nights at Il Nespolo!"

The villa was lovely and clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Alfonso was the perfect host and met us promptly when we arrived and also when we checked out. He was very helpful with lots of useful tips for exploring the area. We tried some of the restaurants he suggested which were fantastic! The new hot tub is amazing and we used it every night. We enjoyed the patio area even though it was a bit cold in the evenings! Definitely get a small car when staying here as the roads are crazy and very narrow!! It's the perfect location for exploring Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii. There are some lovely places and beaches to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

“Hi Alfonso. We really enjoyed our stay in your apartment”

Very nice apartment in a quiet village. If you rent a car, take a small one as the road is quite narrow. Vico Equense is a nice little place. There are not many beaches and many are private, I recommend the beach near the marina even if a little expensive. So many things to visit in the Sorento district, Pompeii, Capri, Ischia ... Everything was perfect, quiet and very nice neighborhood. Thank you very much for your availability and kindness. We really love Italy !!! Hammama

"Alfonso is really a super manager in every sense of the word!"

We were greeted with a cold drink and a bruschetta with the offer of ordering a pizza. The apartment is clean, spacious and contains everything you need. Understandably because of the location, WiFi can be uneven. The views are incredible and there are convenient shops and bus stops within easy walking distance. Alfonso was extremely helpful with ideas for days to spend around. Overall it was an extraordinary experience, thank you Alfonso and all of you for your hospitality !!

"Thank you so much, we had a wonderful stay!"

We’ve been in Italy for a month and your apartment thas by far the best... Giovanni was very helpful with all his great suggestions. Giuseppe was a great guide for our walk in the mountains. Lovely time in Vico Equense. The place was great... clean and spacious with an awesome patio from which we could see the sunset. It was easy to get to Sorrento by train (approx. 20 min). Host and collaborators were great at suggesting activities and getting everything organized for us. All and all, a wonderful experience. Thank you again!

"A nice place to discover the Bay of Naples and the famous archaeological sites"

We have to acknowledge the extreme kindness and availability of Alfonso who was making the link between the owner and He provides us lot's of details to find and reach the house and he was there at the check in and check out to clarify any point or doubt we might have. The place has a nice terrace with a view on the Naples Bay, it is definitively a splendid point with a view towards the valley and the surrounding mountain area where the village of Moiano is located. The wi-fi, the kitchen types of furniture, the beds, and linens are adequately at our disposal. In April, the nights are still cold so it was necessary to use the air conditioning system to warm up the different rooms. The electricity at that period of the year, the touristic taxes and the cleaning fees are added to the amount of the location but it was clear since the first email exchanges with Alfonso. The house is located close to the center of the village where you can find groceries, bar, pizzeria, a few shops etc... so anything needed. The roads to climb up in the villages are extremely narrow (it depends of course of the car that you rented) and you need to drive carefully and slowly to avoid any scratches along the rock walls. It went well for us but it's an adaptation to the Italian way of driving in these small roads and villages along the Bay of Naples.
