Il Nespolo is a newly refurbished apartment, which can sleep up to 7 people, located in the beautiful hills of the Sorrento Coast. Il Nespolo is strategically located in the heart of Sorrento Coast which is well connected with many popular tourist destinations. The apartment is 105 metres squared and features a large 120 metre terrace, air conditioning, winter heating, WI-FI internet access and a secure parking space or garage.

At Il Nespolo, you will be roughly 100 metres from the centre of the village of Moiano (borough of Vico Equense), where you will find bars, pizzerias and shops. The public bus stop is just opposite and will take you to the train station where you can get a direct train to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples. 10 minutes’ walk from the train station is the closest beach (roughly 8 km away from the apartment). A few minutes’ walk from Il Nespolo, you will find a restaurant, a grocery store (150 metres). From the parking area to the entrance of the apartment, there are 18 steps.

Il Nespolo spacious and welcoming. In the open plan living/dining room, there is a dining table with six chairs and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a small utility room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Il Nespolo has three double bedrooms – one with a double bed, one with twin beds and one with a single bed. An additional single bed can be added into the third bedroom, on request. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge. The main bedroom has air conditioning and a TV. There is also air conditioning in the corridor which cools down the other two bedrooms. Off the bedrooms, there is a veranda with a table and chairs. There is a bathroom with a shower cubicle, toilet, sink and bidet.

Il Nespolo boasts a large 120 metre square terrace with a table, chairs, sun parasol and three sun loungers. Here you can also enjoy a view of the sea in the distance. There is also an outdoor shower to cool down during the long, hot summer days. We recommend using a car to stay at this apartment. If you do have one, you will be able to park it below the apartment in a secure parking space or garage (4 metres long, 3 metres wide and 1.9 metres high). We recommend only using a mid-size car.

By Car: As you leave Naples Airport, take the motorway (in italian "autostrada"). Take the A3 motorway following the direction of Salerno-Reggio Calabria. Go straight as if you are going to Salerno. You should see a sign which indicates the Penisola Sorrentina (it is Sorrento). You will then reach pay toll gate on the A3 motorway. You will need to pay € 2 before continuing your journey.

There are several exits: Ercolano, Torre del Greco, Torre Annunziata, Pompeii. After Pompeii, you will arrive at a junction (on the right) for Castellammare di Stabia. There is another pay toll gate but you do not have to pay here.

Follow the signs for Sorrento. You have to pass through two big tunnels. Continue to follow the directions for Sorrento. At a certain point, there is also a sign for Vico Equense.

You will arrive at a fork in the road. Follow the signs for Vico Equense, from this point, there are 7 kms to the property. Ignore any other detour and follow the main road up to Moiano.

By Train: Arrive at the Napoli Centrale Station of the Ferrovie dello Stato "Piazza Garibaldi" and take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento, which links Naples to the Penisola Sorrentina every 30 minutes. You can reach the Circumvesuviana trains at the Napoli Centrale Station via the internal subway. Tickets cost about € 3. From Naples to Vico Equense, the journey lasts about 1 hour. From here, you can arrive at the property by the "Circolare Sinistra" Circumvesuviana bus, which links Vico Equense to Moiano.

By Plane: The airport of Napoli Capodichino is about 50km from from the property. The most comfortable and cheapest solution to reach the Penisola Sorrentina from the airport is the bus service by the Curreri company, which links the airport with Vico Equense (Piazza Kennedy) and Sorrento by six daily buses. Take the bus at the "Arrivals" exit of the airport. The journey to Vico Equense lasts about 1 hour. From here, take the "Circolare Sinistra" Circumvesuviana bus to Moiano.

"Great value for money!"

This apartment is all about two things - the outside spaces and the people. We arrived quite late from Naples and not only were we met by the lovely Giovanni, he also took us to the only open pizzeria and waited whilst we stuffed our faces. The next day the neighbours brought us round fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden - delicious! Alfonso was always really quick to reply to messages and sent us plenty of tips for the local area. There’s two great outdoor spaces at the apartment too - a huge roof terrace overlooking the rooftops over to the bay of Naples, and a smaller intimate garden out the back. There’s loads of places to sit and relax, just don’t forget the bug spray! You’ll definitely need a car to get here, it’s a 15 minutes drive up the mountain from Vico Equense, but there’s nearby shops and restaurants and the stunning Monte Faito just another 15 minutes drive up the hill. With a private garage, you never have to worry about parking!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

Alfonso was a great host and the property was as described. We really appreciated the off road garage parking and the fantastic terrace. The village has shops where you can purchase delicious bread, and groceries and there are more shops selling local fruit and veg and restaurants not far away. Far more tranquil than on the coast. Thank you Alfonso for your warm welcome and prompt responses. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you also to the owners for the tomatoes and basil - these were very much appreciated.

"Many thanks for a wonderful stress free holiday!!"

A true gem in the Italian hills. The house is exactly as described with lovely features. The outside area is amazing with lots of shade if needed. The outside shower was particularly useful. The local bus is really good taking you to Vico Equense and then from there the train will take you to Sorrento/Naples. I would definitely recommend staying here.

"Thanks again for an awesome stay Alfonso, enjoy everyone"

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a beautiful spot just out of the hustle and bustle that still provides easy access to most of the hot spots. The terrace is perfect for relaxing on with sun loungers, seating areas, outdoor shower and great views. The house is perched on the hills above Vico Equense and has a few shops and some really good restaurants within walking distance (recommend Pizzeria All’Angolo and II Covo Del Buongustaio for a delicious, authentic meal) Also recommend hiring a car as it’s about 15mins drive up the hill. Private parking inside a locked garage is provided.

"A wonderful home away from home"

The apartment had a lovely homely feel to it. They had a garage for us to leave the car in which was fantastic as we had a hire car and the hosts were amazing. Anna was extremely helpful even though we were delayed arriving in Italy. We cant wait to stay again later in the year. This is a hidden gem in the Sorrento mountains and was a great location for access to other great cities. I highly recommend staying here to anyone.

"Cannot recommend this apartment enough!"

The terrace is perfect for a family or group as it is incredibly spacious, has plenty of seats, tables and sun loungers, and a bbq. The view from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking, with a view of the Bay of Naples surrounded by green hills. The apartment itself is spacious and has all of the facilities to make your own food using fresh ingredients from the supermarket just a few minutes walk away. Would highly recommend this apartment for a family vacation!
