Sole Resort is a complex for up to 16 people in 5 bedrooms. This complex is a perfect place for large groups of friends and family to relax and enjoy the beautiful, tranquil surroundings and take day trips to Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Pompeii and Naples. You will have exclusive use of all the facilities.

Sole Resort boasts stunning views of the Bay of Naples and the Sorrento Peninsula. The complex is located in a small village and is a 10-minute walk from restaurants, shops and public transport. The beach and the tourist port in Vico Equense, the centre of the Sorrentine Pennisula, are 25 minutes away on the local bus, 30 minutes’ drive from Sorrento and 40 minutes from Pompeii ruins, Ercolano, Positano and Amalfi Coast. A concierge service is available, free of charge, to help you with your luggage on arrival and on departure. We recommend using a car whilst staying at Sole Resort and there is free, private, secure parking on site.

Vico Equense’s coast offers lovely beaches with clear water and all the equipment you need to soak up the sun! The town has two ports: Vico Equense and Seiano, from where you can hire a private boat, to Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi and Positano. Both ports are accessible by local buses. Vico Equense also offers some of the best restaurants in the Sorrentine peninsula.

The above-ground swimming pool, which is 6 metres long, 5 metres wide and 1.40 metres deep, is the perfect place to cool off on long, hot summer days. Next to the pool, there is an external shower and sun loungers where you can relax and soak up the sun.

The first of the three private buildings at Sole Resort is a beautiful, newly refurbished home with sea views and a sunny terrace. It sleeps up to 6 people (2 people on sofa beds) and is 80 metres squared. It features a wonderful, private terrace with a gorgeous view of the sea and the Gulf of Naples, air conditioning, winter heating and internet access.

As you enter the holiday home, the open plan kitchen/lounge living area is warm and welcoming with its beautiful Maiolica Vietri tiles. There are two single sofa beds (which can be made into a double). A beautiful glass table forms the centrepiece of the living area which is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit and a TV. From here, you can gather as family and friends for a delicious meal whilst admiring the spectacular views. There is a French door which opens onto a long terrace where you can enjoy an aperitive whilst watching the sunset. From here, you will enjoy wonderful views of the sea, the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida, Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. This terrace can also be accessed from the main bedroom. There are 80 metres of outdoor space including the terrace and a patio area with a BBQ where you can dine ‘al fresco’.

The brand-new kitchen has modern appliances and stunning Maiolica Vietri tiles. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances including a kettle and toaster. The beautiful bathroom, which is accessible from the living area, is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. The pretty tiles in the shower add to the delightfulness of the whole home. There is also a washing machine.

The main bedroom has a double bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed) and is accessed from the living room. From the bedroom, you can get to the terrace through a French door and enjoy wonderful views of the coastline and the sea. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. The main bedroom has a beautiful ensuite bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin, shower and toilet. The second bedroom is accessed via the living room. It has two single beds (80 cm/32 inches) which can be joined to make a double bed.

From this private building, there are approximately 30 shallow steps to access the second private building in the Sole Resort complex. Here you will also find the swimming pool. This home is 120 metres squared and can sleep up to 6 people (2 on sofa beds). It features a spacious private terrace with a view of the sea, a private patio, air conditioning, winter heating and internet access. From here, you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and of the Gulf of Naples. There is also a big patio (50 metres squared) on the ground floor. It is partly shaded by a walnut tree and is equipped with outdoor furniture.

From the patio, you can access the main living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a fridge/freezer, a microwave oven, kettle, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. In the dining room, there is a table which can seat up to 10 guests. In the lounge, there is a TV, a sofa bed and air conditioning. The bathroom, which is accessible from the kitchen, is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower.

There are two double bedrooms on the first floor, one has an en-suite half bathroom with washbasin and toilet. One bedroom has access via the balcony or via the master bedroom and one via the internal staircase from the lounge. The internal staircase also provides access to the ensuite half bathroom.

"A wonderful experience"

After traveling for over 24 hours, we were warmly greeted by the villa's owner and the property manager. The villa is fabulous and a very comfortable and beautiful setting. We could walk everywhere in Sorrento and were close to a meat market, fish store, vegetable stands and coffee shops. Even though we were on vacation, we cooked one night and the kitchen was great with a table that fit our family of six. The property manager was extremely helpful, arranging special experiences for us and providing a driver when necessary. If we have the opportunity to visit Sorrento again, we will stay here. A wonderful experience. Thank you Alfonso. We had a wonderful time at the villa. It was comfortable and very beautiful and convenient. We will try to visit again!!

"This was a very nice villa"

It is split into 2 apartments but as we were a party of 6 adults we rented both and had the place to ourselves, although the owner lives on site. The pool is clean and well maintained. The apartments are well equipped and in a very good position for easy access to Sorrento shops, harbour, train and bus stations. The Naples Villas rep was friendly, very helpful and easily accessable via whats app, but we didn't need him after we had settled in.

Great villa in fantastic location

We had a wonderful week here at this villa. Our family of four had the 1st floor apartment and my Mother in Law the one on the lower ground floor. This meant we had exclusive use of the lovely pool and plenty of space so we didn't get on top of one another. The appartments are well-equipped and in a great location only 5 minutes walk into Sorrento centre and with a few cafes, bars and pizza restaurants right on the door step. We'd love to come back.

"fantastic time in Sorrento"

There were 6 of us that stayed in Villa Salvocarmelina for 1 week beginning on the 30th July 2016. Due to an early flight we arranged to meet the villa manager (Carmine) before the allocated check in time so that we could drop of our cases if the rooms were not ready. However the two bedroom apartment was ready for us and the down stairs one bedroom apartment was ready soon after. The upstairs (2 bed) apartment is very spacious with two terraces were you can sit outside and enjoy an alfresco meal, the smaller terrace next to the kitchen was used mostly for breakfast and dinner with views of the sun going down. The downstairs (1 bed) apartment had two bathrooms and a large outside eating area. The living area remained nice and cool during the day which was good but all the bedrooms had air conditioning which was definitely needed. The garden and pool area were fantastic, we had the pool to ourselves for most of the time except for a few hours on a couple of occasions. This was one of the highlights of our stay as a cooling dip was most appreciated after a morning exploring Sorrento. The villa is in a terrific location being only 5 minutes walk from the Corso Italia. There was a small negative as the bathroom and kitchen in the 1 bed apartment are looking a little tired but this did not stop us all from having a fantastic time.

Thank you very much Derek for your review. We appreciate the time you have taken to leave a review. We are pleased that you loved the location of the property and had great time at our property. We will do our best to improve the facilities and the service at the property in order to deliver better experiences to all our future guests. We hope you visit Sorrento and Amalfi Coast again soon.

"Great location"

There were six of us so we hired both apartments within the villa. The main apartment is spacious and airy. The two bedrooms are large and comfortable. The sun deck is lovely in the morning and the outside seating area just off from the kitchen is great for evening meals as you watch the sun set. We had a couple of hiccups but these were swiftly rectified. Through the owner/manager, we booked two trips - a private boat to Capri and a drive round the Amalfi coast. Both were fabulous. We took the train to Pompeii.- be prepared to spend a day looking round. Go early and wear good walking shoes..! You can buy a ticket that covers Pompeii and 4 other sites (one being is Herculaneum). This ticket is valid for 3 days. You don't need to buy this ticket if you just want to see Pompeii. You can fit Herculaneum and Vesuvius into one day, but recommend doing Vesuvius through the tourist travel place located upstairs at Pompeii station. The cost €22 each but worth it. After the dust, it was good to sit round the pool and chill. .

The property manager, Carmine was great making arrangements for activities we wanted to do and arranging for a driver when needed. If we have the opportunity to visit Sorrento again we will definitely stay here.

"For two weeks at Villa Salvocarmelina was our home"

The House is gorgeous and superbly maintained and everyone is extremely nice and friendly. Everything is so calm and quiet. We came with 3 kids and they enjoyed every minute in the apartment and around the pool and large garden. There is so much to see and do nearby, we skipped many of the more "routine" places and focused on the charming area near Sorrento, Positano and Ravello. Don't miss the boat trip to Capri which Carmine the local manager suggested. it was one of our best vacations and we can't wait to be there again.

"Nice place to stay in Sorrento centre"

Our party of 6 recently stayed at Villa Salvocarmelina, lovely apartments - good accommodation Carmine was there to welcome us and provided us with really good info on places to visit, sorted a guide in Sorrento and suggested places to visit ( which was excellent.) Carmine cooked for us on 3 occasions - each time a 4 course meal with wine. Beautifully cooked. In all a very rewarding experience, which I would recommend to anyone.
