“We enjoyed our stay and are really thankful for all your help.”

I was at Villa Barbare with 6 friends and we really enjoyed our stay. The view from the house is awesome and Alfonso was very helpful with any problems we had. His English is good, so we had no problem communicating. He also suggested a lot of nice trips. I would recommend Villa Barbara to anyone who wants to spend a nice vacation in Italy.

"We will definitely be back!"

Our extended family of 9 stayed in this beautiful villa. Exceptional rooms, clean, spacious and touches of rustic Italian architecture and charm. The balcony was spacious and inviting. The children enjoyed the hot tub immensely. The villa was based just off the main road, so easy to walk to local shops and restaurants and local coffee bar. Our host Alfonzo was fantastic and always helpful. This is one villa we will definitely be coming back to.

“Very beautiful and quiet place"

Thank you again very much for making our stay so special. Villa Barbara is a lovely place to stay and we enjoyed our trips to the mountains as well as to Pompei, the beach and the Amalfi coast. Moiano is such a nice and peaceful village to really take some time out, still, nothing is far away.

"We really enjoyed our stay!"

Alfonso' s place is relaxing, quiet, with beautiful views and all the amenities you need to have a great getaway. Close enough to the action to pop in, have a meal and explore, but far enough away to have a truly authentic italian village experience. Alfonso is incredibly responsive and will help you with any odd bobs needed throughout your stay. Probably the best accommodation we had during our 3 weeks in Italy. Thank you Alfonso, we really enjoyed our stay. We loved seeing you flit around town like you are the mayor.

"Highly recommended for families"

We took the villa for less than a week in September. 9 persons, from 2.5 years old (our yang granddaughter) to 61 years old. It was our family reunion. We highly recommend for the place, the location, a special recommendation of the grate hospitality of Alfonso, who was really sensitive and available at any time for any request. The villa is in very good condition and luxury in each and every apartment in it, and in the "public" spaces of it. We recommend also to listen to the advice of Alfonso, we found each and every one of, as excellent. For sure we will be back next time to this place and to the hospitality of Alfonso. Gil

"What an amazing gem!!"

What an amazing gem up in the mountains yet close to all attractions. As a family with adult children we needed extra space and this place offers it all - four bedrooms, a large kitchen, two outdoors areas, three bathrooms - all with superb service from Anna, Alfonso and Giovanni. The surroundings make it an authentic and first class experience.

"I cannot recommend this place enough!"

Lots of space, beautiful rooms, amazing gardens and large accommodating communal spaces. The main kitchen is large and the whole villa is extremely clean. We were a large group and had all three apartments. It was nice to have our own space but also have communal areas. The location is rural (as described) but it has everything you need. The local markets are well stocked and the local restaurants and cheap and delicious! The bus to the train station is easy and the train will take you anywhere along the coast. The rural location is worth it for the views and to escape the hustle and bustle of the larger Italian coast towns. The host, Alfonso, was amazing. A really nice, kind and welcoming gentlemen who could not have been any more helpful. He was on hand to check us in at a late time and was quick to reply to all questions we had during our stay. Thank you so much for your help. You made our stay easy and relaxing. You are a very kind person.

“Thanks again - we really enjoyed our stay”

Alfonso was a super kind host and Gioanni who gave us the keys and showed us the aprarment was extremely friendly and gave us some really nice tips to explore the Amalfi coast. The apartment offers a truly stunning view across the sea and the coastline - especially recommended for romantic sun downers.
