Planning your wedding abroad

Step one

Choose a destination. If you don’t have somewhere in mind, scroll through these pages which can tell you more about each location or talk to one of our Naples Villas Personal Travel Experts. You can also get inspiration from our website www.naplesvillas.co.uk.

Step two

Choose your reception venue. Consider the price of each wedding package and what’s included. Look to see if the hotel features a honeymoon offer. You could get spa treatments, dinner or a room upgrade for free.

Step three

Choose a date. Decide which month you’d like to get married. Try to book as far in advance as possible. Some weddings may need to be booked 12 months before departure.

Step four

Book by calling 0800 612 3381 or (+44) 07821 324263. Pick your chosen area and you’ll be passed through to your own Personal Travel Expert. They’ll talk you through your wedding booking and can also book your guests into the hotel. A small deposit per couple will be taken at the time of booking.

Step five

After you’ve booked, we’ll send you a wedding pack with more details of your wedding and the extras available. It will tell you what documentation you’ll need, plus there’s a simple form you must fill out and return as soon as possible. Read through all the information and legal requirements carefully.

Step six

Once you have returned your form to us, we will request your preferred wedding date from the overseas authorities. If your date is unavailable, we will offer you an alternative and will confirm the date within seven days.

Step seven

Once you’ve booked your wedding, flights and hotel, our Wedding Concierge Team will be in touch with you within a few days. The Wedding Concierge team will be your day-to-day contact, liaising with the resort to make sure everything is perfect. You can make special requests, add extras such as fireworks and photographers, and we’ll be here to answer all of your questions. You can call our Wedding Concierge team on 0800 612 3381 or 0044 7821 324263.

Step eight

If you have more wedding guests who’d like to join you on your big day, tell us as soon as possible so we can check availability at your chosen hotel and make a booking for them.

Step nine

Check you have all the documentation you need. If you need copies from the authorities or you are changing your passport into your married name, leave enough time for these items to be processed and posted to you.

Step ten

Three months before you travel, make sure we have all your documentation so we can process your wedding licence. A month before, check your vaccines (where applicable) are all up to date with your GP, and keep all your original documentation safe and ready to take with you. Ensure you have suitcases large enough for your wedding outfits and check the baggage allowance with your airline. And finally, have the most amazing wedding and tell us all about it when you return!
