4 bedroom villa with private pool & seaviews in Ravello, Amalfi Coast

Villa Gelsi is a charming villa located in one of the most beautiful and panoramic areas along the Amalfi Coast. It is conveniently located between the two historical towns of Amalfi and Ravello, in a private and exclusive position, making it a great starting point for easy day trips to all the tourist points of interest along the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Coast, as well as Naples, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, and the islands of Capri and Ischia. Villa Gelsi also boasts a wide and splendid view of the Mediterranean sea.

Villa Gelsi has five different levels of large terraces and gardens, which all face the sun and the sea. Its stunning pool is on the upper terrace. The terraces are decorated with jars filled with flowers, some of which are sun-drenched and others shaded by pergolas and trees. The interiors are luminous, welcoming and tastefully and elegantly furnished in a bright Mediterranean style. Every angle of the villa and its grounds, allows you to admire the Lattari mountains, which steeply plunge into the sea and enclose the narrow valleys of the villages of Minori and Maiori, the picturesque inlet of the coast, visible up to Capo D'Orso.

Villa Gelsi is on two floors with 250 square metres of interior space and 1000 square metres of outdoor area consisting of many terraces and gardens. It is accessible from the main road along the short, private driveway. A garage, at the end of the driveway, provides parking for one car; there is additional parking for two cars along the driveway.

There are 19 steps up to the main floor of the villa. As you enter the villa, there is a spacious, airy living room, elegantly furnished with large sofas around an open marble fireplace. The living room is decorated with lots of precious lamps, paintings and ceramic vases and boasts a crystal dining table with 6 elegant wood chairs. It features 2 French windows with coordinating curtains opening onto a panoramic terrace with spectacular views. Villa Gelsi's terrace is equipped with wrought iron table with ceramic top for 6 guests and wrought iron chairs. A further French window opens onto a lateral terrace, also with sea views. The living-room also has large windows through which you can enjoy a wide-open view of the seascape.

The newly refurbished kitchen is accessible from the living room but also from the terrace, making it easy and pleasant to organize outdoor meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with dining table (which seats 8), 4 gas rings, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, fridge, freezer and door leading to the terrace with pine trees and a mature violet bougainvillea. You will find this terrace perfect for outdoor meals in front of a breathtaking seascape. It is equipped with a big table for outdoor meals and shaded by awnings.

Next to the kitchen is a lift to access the first floor. In addition, there is also a laundry-room and a bathroom with a modern glass shower cubicle, washbasin, WC and hairdryer. A hallway behind the living room leads to a spacious bedroom featuring one double bed, one single bed, en-suite bathroom with large shower cubicle, washbasin, WC and hairdryer. There are also 2 French windows, which open onto terraces with sea views.

The first floor is accessible via the indoor staircase (20 steps) or the lift. There are 2 double bedrooms and one bedroom with 2 single beds. The largest double bedroom has en-suite bathroom with large shower cubicle and hydro massage tub, washbasin, WC and hairdryer. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom, located in the hall, with a modern glass shower. Each bedroom has its own TV, a control to regulate the air-conditioning and French windows opening onto terraces with sea views.

From this floor, the lift takes you to a spacious terrace (reachable also from the entrance of the villa by an 45 external steps) with terracotta floor and decorated with large terracotta pots overflowing with geraniums. A staircase of 21 steps takes you to the upper level with a huge terrace which provides spectacular views of the coast and the sea and comfortable and furnished outdoor spaces. It houses a fairly large swimming pool (16 m x 7 m), 2 outdoor showers, deck chairs, a shaded dining area with table and charcoal barbecue and a corner furnished as a bar.
