Villa Capo is a two storey building with its own private pool, patio, garden and terrace. The villa is 130 metres squared and can accommodate up to 7 guests. Surrounded by olive groves, it is in a beautiful and strategic position, just a few minutes from Sorrento and Massa Lubrense: ideal for those who want to relax in a delightful setting, and equally for those who wish to explore the many artistic and cultural treasures in the local area.
On the first floor of Villa Capo, there are three bedrooms and one bathroom with a hydro-massage shower. The first bedroom has a wrought iron double bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), a flat-screen satellite television, air conditioning/heating unit and a window with a partial view of the sea. The second bedroom has twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), a flat-screen satellite television and an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has access to a private terrace through a French door.The third bedroom has twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), a flat-screen satellite television and an air conditioning/heating unit. This room has two windows with a partial view of the sea. The ceiling has characteristic wooden beams and the doors are made of the finest chestnut wood. All the furniture was made by Sorrentine craftsmen with four generations of experience. There are some exquisite chandeliers, created by world-famous designers, which accentuate the beauty of the hand-painted majolica floor-tiles. The floors on the first level are covered in Vietri ceramic tiles, while those on the ground level are made with fine terracotta. Villa Capo is furnished with all the comforts to help make your stay truly memorable.
On the ground floor, there is a second bathroom with a wash basin, toilet and fully enclosed shower. There is a large open plan living room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle. It is also furnished with a large white dining table produced by the renowned Finnish architect, Eero Saarinen. The living room contains a very comfortable sofa, fireplace, television, a DVD player and a CD player with Ipod dock station. There are two windows with a view of the swimming pool and there is an air conditioning/heating unit. From the living room, you can access the private patio and the garden through two French doors. Wi-Fi internet access is provided free both inside and outside the house.
Outside the villa, there is an octagonal wood-framed swimming-pool and a solarium equipped with chairs and loungers. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of October. There is also a laundry-room with washing-machine, tumble-dryer, iron with ironing-board, and drying rack. The outside space at Villa Capo is fully equipped and partly shaded - making it the perfect place to dine 'al fresco' on those long, Summer nights. Meals can also be ordered in advance from our chef, who will prepare some typical local dishes for you to sample, some of them cooked in our wood-burning oven. Take a stroll among the olive groves and citrus trees in the villa's garden.
Although Villa Capo is in a quiet country location, it has good access to public transport systems. It is close to a the local bus stop, which provides services to both Sorrento and Massa Lubbrense. There are also plenty of amenities and services close at hand. These include a petrol station; a post office where you can withdraw money or send packages and postcards; a small supermarket. There is also a bar and pizzeria for those who would like to drink a cocktail or a “granita” and enjoy an excellent pizza. Therefore, you will not need a car to stay at Villa Capo but if you do have one, you will be able to park it inside the entrance gate. The parking space is suitable for a maximum of two medium-sized cars.
