Villa Hilda B&B Montechiaro, Vico Equense, Sorrento.
From Naples Airport there is a Curreri bus service which goes from Naples to Sorrento, get off in Meta di Sorrento and call us to you up and take you to Villa Hilda .
From Naples Central Railway Station the Circumvesuviana trains depart every hour to Vico Equense. Just outside Vico Equense train station take the bus to Montechiaro.
From Naples Mergellina or Molo Beverello you can take the hydrofoil " Metro del Mare "and in 30 minutes you will be in Seiano or Sorrento. Sorrento is just 5 Kms away from us.
From Napoli by car: Take the A3 motorway Naples-Salerno towards the Sorrentine Coast, after 21 km exit at junction for Castellammare, proceed along main road up to Punta Scutolo (between Seiano and Meta di Sorrento) at 1.200 mt. from Seiano in the direction of Sorrento to the left is the road for Montechiaro.

Cancellation: If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total cost will be charged.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately .
Pets: Pets are not allowed inside the accommodation, except in rare cases for small animals which has to be agreed upon the moment you are booking.

CLIMATE: A typical Mediterranean climate; hot, dry and sunny in Summer and although cooler in the winter, it still has lots of bright and sunny days and several hours of sunshine a day.
POSITION: Campania is on the south west coast of Italy on the Mediterranean sea, about 2 hours south of Rome.
PLACES OF INTEREST: Naples is one of Italy's most vibrant Italian cities. “Bella Napoli”, where the pizza Margherita was born, is renowned for the character of its people who say “see Naples and then die”. Admire the impressive panorama and the former Royal family palace in Piazza Plebicito. You can wander through the famous 'spaccanapoli', with its church of Santa Chiara.
LOCAL SPECIALITIES: The region is famous for its hand-crafted inlaid wood furniture, music boxes and artefacts. Also hand-made leather shoes, jewellery and ceramics are very popular.
CUISINE: Italy is most famous for its pizza and it is impossible to visit ICamapania without eating a pizza, after all pizza was invented and trasformed in Naples! Pizza are cooked in bread ovens and are fed firewood to reach a high temperature which cooks the pizza quickly and perfectly, with the oven enhancing its flavour. Seafood is served fresh in most restaurants or can be bought from the local markets and fish shops. Arguably some of the best wines come from Italian grapes. In Italy you can enjoy your favourite Italian wines for much less than you would pay elsewhere.
SHOPPING: Via Toledo is Naples’s mainstream shopping high street. Chiaia and Piazza dei Martiri is the place to go for more boutique designer labels. Via Port d’Alba and via dei Tribunali are lined with junk stalls and booksellers. For a true Napoli-style shopping experience head to Porto Nolana for the daily fish market.

Dear Hilda
We arrived well at home on sunday afternoon. We want to thank you once again for your hospitality during our stay in your house. We appreciate very much our visit to your b&b.
When we left (with pain in my heart) and we arrived in Napoli, I was disappointed because Napoli was so busy and hectic. I didn't feel very comfortable in Naples when we went to the citycentre on friday evening. On saturday we returned and I felt more comfortable, but still it can not be compared with the region of sorrento. I'm very pleased I saw the hectic life in Napoli but I can't imagine I have to live there.
So, if you decide to come once again to Belgium, please contact me for a visit.
