It is difficult to imagine to be a few km from Sorrento (km 10), Pompei (km 22) and the Amalfi coast (km 20) and at the same time away from crowds and traffic, but all doubts are washed away as you are approaching Astapiana Villa Giusso.
Suspended between sky and sea, this charming, 16th century, dwelling, once a monastery, so full of past reminders... but present, suggests to return in peace with oneself and others, throughout the contemplation of nature and the discovery of agricultural life.
In 1822, the property was bought by Luigi Giusso, duke of Galdo, the present owner’s ancestor. Now Erminia and Giovanna invite you to experience their hospitality and the beauty and fascination of this historical site. A welcome drink awaits for you on the stone terrace: from this point, the view is absolutely mesmerising: Ischia, The Vesuvius and the bay of Naples, against an amazing sunset.
The bedrooms are full of romance with original iron-beds and 18th century furnishings.
You may breakfast on fresh ricotta, fruits and home made cakes in the majestic kitchen with the original ceramic tiles and large fireplace. Dinner is also available on demand.

Villa Giusso offers a retreat of relaxation and simplicity unlike any other. If you are looking for a peaceful and enthralling getaway, Villa Giusso is the answer.
There are six bedrooms and a nice self-catering dependence.
The bedrooms are in the main foresteria or in the monks’ abodes.
In the main foresteria, the bigger building, where in the past monks gave hospitality to travellers, the bedrooms are fascinating with original iron-beds and 18th century furnishings.
The monks’ abodes are the ancient cell, newly restored: the cell is like a cottage or little dependence and is composed by two double bedrooms each with bathroom. The bedrooms are charming and have a valuable modern advantage “the heating”. Here the guests have also a private garden at their disposal.
At your disposal, for weekly self-catering accommodation, the monks’ cell “Annunciata”. The “Annunciata” dependence is like a cottage, ideal solution for four people, with two charming bedrooms, one double and one twins, each with bathroom en suite, with a useful kitchenette, private garden.
Within the monastery, you can find some special rooms reserved for who require silence to work and concentrate: the “horses” hall and the reading room are available to host seminars, business meeting, workshops and small conventions of up to 50 people.
Further details outdoors:
