Villa Virgilie is unique eighteenth-century property built on the cliff in the centre of Positano. Villa Virgilie is 200 metres squared and can accommodate up to nine people. It boasts a beautiful lemon tree garden, heated outdoor swimming pool, air conditioning, WIFI and views that will absolutely take your breath away.

Just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Positano, this stunning property offers 5 ensuite bedrooms which are bright and comfortable and several living spaces both indoors and out. 

Due to its central location, a car is not necessary when staying at Villa Virgilie. You are a stone’s throw away from the narrow bustling streets of Positano’s centre but far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquillity on your return to the villa.

Villa Virgilie is accessible through a wooden door from the road and then down a flight of about 30 shallow steps through a blooming pergola to reach the main floor. All the properties in the area are characterised by a descent which opens out onto views of the wonderful coastline. Three out of the five ensuite bedrooms are on the main floor. There are three double bedrooms (two king size and one queen size bed) all with en-suite bathrooms and one single bedroom with an ensuite. All the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and designed for your comfort and enjoyment.

On the main floor there is also a lounge with comfortable sofas, satellite TV and access onto the garden. There is a fully equipped kitchen which is beautifully decorated in traditional Vietri majolica tiles. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, American coffee maker, a marble dining table which accommodates up to four people and a wood burning oven. There is also a spacious pantry/larder. From the kitchen, large French doors open onto the garden, stone courtyard and the panoramic terrace.

At Villa Virglie, there are four dining areas, one indoor with a large, wooden table, two outdoor areas surrounded by fruit trees and one outdoor dining table by the swimming pool. Enjoy a delicious dinner ‘al fresco’ and sip your limoncello while you delight in the picture-postcard panorama which will imprinted in your memory forever.The main terrace boasts some of the most amazing views of the sea and Positano that you will ever see. From the terrace, there are about 20 steps which lead to heated swimming pool with whirlpool corner and to a furnished sun deck.

On this level, there is one of the ensuite double bedroom with a queen size bed.After a busy day sight-seeing, relax on a sun lounger with a good book whilst enjoying the fresh, lemon-scented breeze in the beautiful, tranquil garden. Walk through a smaller terrace shaded by vines and equipped with a BBQ to reach the lower level of the villa. There is a laundry room with a washing machine, ironing board and iron.

On the lower level of Villa Virglie, there is another fully equipped kitchen decorated in Vietri majolica tiles and featuring a second wood burning pizza oven. Here, you will also find a beautiful, large, wooden dining room with dining table for up to 10 guests. The fifth bed is a French bed and is on this level suitable for children or young adult.
