Dear Alfonso (and Diana)
Thank you for helping us to organise our trip to Frascati and Rome.
Everything went very smoothly and we had a lovely time. I can highly recommend the Hotel Flora and Inis? sends her best wishes to Alf!!
We ate in the Ara Anua restaurant as recommnede by Francesca. The food was amazing but massive portions! The first time we shared an antipasto and had a steak each but couldn't eat it all. The second time we shared the antipasto and the steak but still struggled with it all!!
We had a really warm sunny week so it's not pleasant to come home to today's weather! It will be even worse going back to work tomorrow.
We are thinking of going to sardinia next year so may be in touch again!

It was a fantastic weekend. Everything went well and we are very happy, the choices Alfonso helped us to make ensured we had a great time.
The property is very beautiful and scenic, also we enjoyed brilliant sunshine and warmth. The rooms were beautiful and even the breakfast buffet had a huge choice of both sweet and savoury food of a high quality.
Me and my brother, Andrew, didn't think twice about diving into the sea after the long flight of steps to reach the beach.
I have no words to describe the restaurant: EXCELLENT, PROFESSIONAL AND NICE FOOD SIMPLY SUPERB. They even gave us a great discount on the price, which surprised us all.
I thank you again Alfonso for everything you did for us, it was a weekend that will remain in the history of our family.

Clive (USA) - Aequa Hotel
This was our first trip to Europe from the USA and we stayed at this hotel in September 2005 for two nights. We had a most wonderful time. Would return and stay longer. This hotel had good value for the money. The hotel was quaint and clean and the desk was most helpful. Rooms were large and they showed us what the choices would be before we booked the rooms for the nights. Ask for a room facing the Bay of Naples and you will discover that you won't want to leave the room. The views are magnificent. Those rooms had large balconies with chairs and small tables. I can see it now! We were lucky to be there when the hotel was used for two weddings - a wedding each night we were there. It was so beautiful! We ate only breakfast in the hotel and sampled local restaurants. The hotel breakfast is decent. There were English tourists there and they didn't think highly of the buffet. I couldn't understand their complaints until we went to London this year and saw what an english breakfast could be.
Location is excellent - close to the train and there is a parking garage if you are driving....I am going on and on and must stop.
But i do have such great memories of this hotel!

Julie (Australia) - Aequa Hotel
Just returned from a stay at this hotel and I agree with the other comments. We didn't have a view of the bay but did have a balconey. The room was spacious and we even had a bath, not all rooms do. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food was satisfactory. In terms of breakfast it was above standards for European breakfasts and different from English breakfasts.
It is close to the trains and the shopping is not to bad, however a trip to Sorrento to shop is a great way to spend the late afternoon and night.
Hope you enjoy the hotel as much as we did.

Sandra (New Zeland) - Aequa Hotel
We stayed at the Hotel Aequa     a few years ago and enjoyed it a great deal for its location, its big pool and its view. The key to this hotel is to get a room with a view of the bay/pool. It was a good place to stay with kids because of the pool, and because of the easy access to beach and town. Our room looked out on Mt. Vesuvius and had a small balcony. The location was ideal. A quick bus ride took you down to a lovely beach. There was small fee to sit on the beach, but you got a deck chair and there were peddle boats to rent. It was an idyllic -- and not crowded beach. The hotel is in town, so you can just walk out and stroll around. There was a great, inexpensive pizza place next door. You could easily walk to the Circumvesuviano, a small commuter train that takes you to Pompei, Sorrento, or Naples. The trains ran regularly, and were cheap, so transportation was not an issue. The staff was friendly. The downside, as another reviewer said, was the food, but we only ate there once. We found fun little restaurants and ice cream stores that were easy to walk to. I found it relaxing because there was nothing you simply had to see in the town, nothing you had to buy but the village was friendly and charming. Very low key.

Giorgie (UK) - Aequa Hotel
Just had a weeks stay here as acomodation for a Naples Villas Package. Well sitauted for all sites in the Bay of Naples with easy communications by Road, Rail, Bus. Excellent facilities comfortable rooms good food & wliing profesional staff who looked after us well.
Highly recommended.
My wife and I have just returned from a Naples Villas tour of the Bay of Naples area and we were based for a week at the Hotel Aequa in Vico Equense. Vico was a good base, full of life (and, of course, noise, this being Italy) and, in September at least, there were few tourists around, giving a very authentic Italian experience, especially in the narrow back streets and squares near the cathedral overlooking the sea. Most tours seem to be based in Sorrento which I am sure has its delights but is almost certainly full of tourists.
The Hotel is well placed - turn right for 200 yards to the main square, Piazza Umberto 1 with several delightful cafes from which to watch the world (and the inevitable traffic!) go by, or turn left downhill for 5 minutes to the Circumvesuviana railway station from which for 1 euro 30 you can reach Naples, Sorrento or the Pompeii station (200 yards from the site entrance). The hotel has a lovely pool, gardens and a charming, spacious and shaded terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The staff are friendly, willing and speak English. The hotel does seem popular for weddings - there were two when we were there and for the second on our day of departure a chef prepared amazing sculptures and displays out of carved pumpkins, melons, and other fruits that were really works of art; fortunately the wedding we experienced fully finished by early evening so noise was not a problem.

Mr and Ms Britt (UK) - Aequa Hotel
Firstly, Alfonso, thank you very much we had a wonderful time!
Secondly, I have been very honest in this response and this is to do with our connection. If you were someone that I did not know I probably would have just given a bland response, so please forgive me if this is not acceptable to you.
Vico Equense is a lovely place and the hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly, kind and helpful, the rooms clean and well presented. We had the magnificent sea view that I had requested and transportation was easy as the station was only down the road. Our only criticism would be about the lunch.Breakfast was good and offered a variety of different dishes to cater for the international preferences. However we chose to have lunch there one day and were very disappointed. The pasta was under-cooked and the salmon and vegetables were over-cooked. Maybe the chef was having a bad day! Everywhere else that we had eaten in Vico the food had been excellent.
However the travelling to and from Pozzuoli from here took four hours each time and as it was the purpose of our visit we felt that we were a long way from our destination.Pozzuoli was very different from Vico Equense, much to do and see here and boat trips from the harbour to various islands. It felt more authentically Italian as less locals spoke English and although there were many visitors passing through, it still didn't feel geared up to the tourist trade quite as much as Sorrento or the places on the other side of the bay. We certainly would suggest finding a hotel here for you to recommend. The historic sites and volcanoes are all here within walking distance, albeit a long walk, but not so much recourse to travelling on public transport on a daily basis.
If we returned to the Amalfi coast, it would be where we would choose. That is our own take on what we want from a holiday, more Italy less English speaking, easy access to the places we wish to visit and very importantly for me....access to the sea. It was lovely to see the sea in Vico but everything was a long climb down and back up to get to it. Pozzuoli is at sea level so it was accessible all the time.
Having said this I would not have missed the experience for the world, but rather too much travelling and not enough being at the destination.
We appreciate that it is very difficult to choose holidays for others as everyone has a different take on what they want from a holiday. I am being honest with you as I feel that it may be of more benefit to you than me saying ' Oh it was all lovely thank you very much '.
We are both most grateful for your help with this holiday, as I am sure that if we had tried to do this on our own it would not have worked out very well.We have had the most wonderful experiences and seen the most beautiful places that we will remember for a life time....and you can quote me on that.
So thank you, thank you, thank you, Annie

Lucy  and  Ian (UK) - Aequa Hotel
Thankyou for arranging such a wonderful end to our travels, it was lovely to be on top of such a perfect beach to relax on and so helpful of you to look into our flights and transfers... and the train strike too! Invaluable!

Hi Alfonso
Excellent company and beautiful locations. Alfonso and Diana are the best!

Jason Tipler (UK)- Aequa Hotel
Hi Alfonso
I just wanted to say a very big thank you for sorting out the room at Hotel Aequa last month, for our honeymoon!
We had a really lovely time and were very impressed with the Hotel. All the staff were so lovely and really helpful and the room and view were also excellent!
We really liked Vico Equense and much preferred it to Sorrento, where we thought there were too many tourists!
Once again thanks very much, Jason.

Tim Button (UK) - Aequa Hotel
Hi, just emailing to thank you both for a wonderful holiday. The hotel was fantastic and the Almalfi coastline was just perfect. Also all of your help with trying to retrieve my bag was greatly appreciated. I have still not had it returned yet and BA do not seem to know where it is but i am hassling them regulaly.
Unfortunately Ben's bag did not turn up at Gatwick and all the clothes i bought in Sorrento were in there. So now mine and Ben's wardrobes are very bare.
Thanks again, Tim

Martin and Rhian, England - Nov 2009  - Il Sentiero delle Sirene
Dear Alfonso,
We had a wonderful holiday on the Amalfi coast. Il Sentiero delle Sirene is everything that we could have expected. A warm welcome, a family home that has been beautifully thought about at every stage and of the highest standard. It is a magical place set into a cliff.
We would like to return in the future.
Best Wishes to Vincenzo

Anonymous,  New York, NY - Il Sentiero delle Sirene
Il Sentiero delle Sirene is unlike any place I have ever been to. I was there in 2006 and coming back I was still amazed at how beautiful it is!! There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room and very comfortable. Pizza night with Vincenzo is so much fun. The pizza is by far the best ever!!! I would definitely love to go there again in the future.

Anonymous, New Jersey - Il Sentiero delle Sirene
Villa "Il Sentiero delle Sirene''  is a unique, beautifully furnished villa conveniently located between Sorrento and Positano on the Amalfi coast. The villa is a wonderful base for visiting all of the wonderful sites in the Naples area. There is a gorgeous view of the ocean and an array of plants and flowers that are breathtaking. It contains all modern appliances, a woodburning pizza oven, a swimming pool, a bar, and a meditating area which is most enjoyable. The three bedrooms are very comfortable and additional sleeping quarters can be arranged. Our family has spent six vacations at the Villa "Il Sentiero delle Sirene''  and look forward to returning.

Once I got back to the States, I tried in vain to describe this place to people. Basically impossible. Here's what I can tell you: It's absolutely one of a kind—nothing else like it in the world. Built right into the cliff, it makes you feel like you're floating. The air is perfectly clear, the views sweeping, and the care and love that went into building the place are apparent at every turn. You can't help but relax.
Oh, and it's got the world's best bathroom. Hands down.

Rita Dalal (India) - Il Sentiero delle Sirene
The best and the most beautiful thing in the world cannot be seen nor touched, but we felt in our hearts!!!
Il Sentiero delle Sirene is captivating and will remain a life time memory! and I would love to come back each year.....
Me and my friends, just got back from this charming Cliff house and the sense of having left such an amazing place does seem to work on the psyche.
The unimaginable Blue Water, the cliff and above all the most UNIQUE VILLA! It is so beautiful that it seems alost ETHEREAL!!!!
Bravo Doctor! Your vision to create this Villa is beyond imagination. When we walked through the gates, we were awed by the view, the garden and the whole theme of working with the rocks and the cliff!
Hospitality and the warmth of Vincenzo, really touched upon us. We became good friends and felt we were at home. His Culinary Art is amazing. He has a great passion and understanding of Italian cooking.
A great experience!
All I can say is A THING OF BEAUTY IS A JOY FOREVER!

Upon entering through the doors of this Villa, what we found is nothing that any of the four of us could have ever imagined! We felt as we were in a remarkable "wonder land". Il Sentiero delle Sirene became a loving home to us for one week and oh, how we hate to leave! This vacation has been a dream vacation. We enjoyed our visits to Isle of Capri, Pompei, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi. We thank the Doctor for sharing their heavely cliff home! We will have many wonderful memories of our dream vacation in a MOST ENCHANTING land and "our" cliff home away from home!

Evan Burton (USA) - Il Sentiero delle Sirene
Six days, or six minutes ago, that I strode anxiously into a Cliffside paradise?
Either way it was the best time spent in a long time. The word of the day here was always “unbelievable”, and it was repeated every time someone ventured a glance at the spectacular Mediterranean shimmering hundreds of feet below us.
Before I leave let me give a suggestion: WOOD FIRED PIZZA! As I stated before, it’s unbelievable

Whitney (USA) -  Il Sentiero delle Sirene
A week ago I opened the arched gates and stepped into heaven!
I now look back and reflect upon a most enjoyable vacation. Il Sentiero delle Sirene in an amazing home situated upon such scenic cliffs. Each angle of the home offers a new and special view.
Tomorrow I will walk back through the arched doorway and say goodbye to a place that felt like home!

Mark & Sarah (UK) - Villa Sant'Agata
We have recently returned from a week at Le Capannelle booked through Alfonso at Naples Villas. We really enjoyed our stay in Santa Agata and the whole experience was pleasant. From the first contact with Alfonso, he was very quick to reply to our emails and as we also rent out holiday accommodation, we know and appreciate how important this is. Alfonso was efficient and helpful and we found the booking process very easy.
Our stay at Le Capannelle was wonderful. The only problem we had was finding it in the first place, as it is hidden away down a quite lane, but once we were there, Giusy, the manageress was brilliant and helped us settle in immedialtely.
The apartments were within walking distance of a very busy little town but it was fantastic to be able to walk down to the local restaurants and then retreat to our holiday home. Everything was very clean and well laid out and we had all we needed for our self catering holiday. The views and sunsets from our large balcony were beautiful and it was a perfect area for dining or a pre-dinner drink.
Guisy explained all about the local area, places to dine and visit and she was available whenever we needed her.
We can thoroughly recommend Le Capannelle and hope to return on our next visit to the area.

John (UK) - Villa Sant'Agata
We loved the accomodation, Giusy and Alfredo were very genuine people and showed us how to enjoy the holiday as much as possible and to avoid the crowding tourists. Didn't much like Sorrento, too many Italians seeing you as walking dollar signs and try to rip you off. Loved Positano and San'agata was of course very special. Thanks so much for all your help. I would definately use "Naples Villas" again!

Vicky and Nick (UK) - Villa Sant'Agata
We had a fantastic stay at La Capanelle, it was absolutely lovely (even nicer than the photos on your website), thank you so much for your help in arranging our holiday. Giusy was extremely helpful, and the setting was just stunning. The suggestions of places to visit was spot on as well - we particularly loved Positano and Ravello. Pompeii was a bit tough going in the hot weather though! Thank you very much.

Neil Anderson (UK) - Villa Sant'Agata
We really enjoyed it. The villa was beautiful presented and well furnished and having the same colour scheme throughout worked really well. The pool was great and Giusy was extremely helpful. The villa was just great. Could I suggest providing wine glasses? We would highly recommend  this apartment. Thanks for a great holiday!!!

Kristin Braekken, Norway - Villa Sant'Agata
I loved everything about "Le Capannelle"- including the pool, the easy access to the washing machine and the caretaker's easy-going, fun, but still serious approach to her job.

Laura Magee (UK)- Villa Sant'Agata
Ideal for families. The staff were excellent, very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Mary Ann Cooper-Wilkie, Canada - Villa Sant'Agata
Le Capannelle was an excellent choice for us. The staff were available almost instantaneously when we called to say we were close by. They were most helpful in supplying a toaster and a kettle and were present on site a large part of the day so they were a good resource on local options. The pool was very clean and area well maintained and we enjoyed it very much. I know that the owners have little control over this but their neighbors has 2 dogs which barked continuously all night and made it quite difficult to sleep some nights. I don't know if this can be addressed. The kitchen was very stocked with items necessary for cooking and that was appreciated.

Bryan Young (UK) - Villa Sant'Agata
Le Capannelle was lovely, it was well equipped, clean and inviting. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. All the amenities at the villa were excellent. The residence was excellent, the staff were very good, helpful and friendly. The entire place was kept beautiful and well looked after.

Dan McCormick (UK) - Villa Sant'Agata
We really did enjoy our time at the residence. The location, residence and facilities were excellent. The pool was and quality of facilities stood out and the parking and electric gates on entry were a real bonus. In particular the relais's manageress was outstanding. She made us feel very welcome when we arrived and remained a fabuous host throughout our stay. By the time we left she was a true friend!

Mark Spooner (UK) - Villa Sant'Agata
It was fantastic, definately the best apartment that I have ever been to and would definately recommend it to anyone. What you say in your literature is what you get. It was peaceful and quiet but in easy reach of the town for a good night out and for transport. The apartment was a very high standard and the young lady that came each morning and looked after the general tidyness of the villa was brillant. She would be sweeping up, watering plants etc every morning at 7.00 am - give her a pay rise she is a gem!! Also the  representative who met us at the petrol station on her scooter and took us to the residence was brillant, she showed us all around, gave us lots of information and came everyday to answer any questions should we need them, she even gave us advice on a parking ticket we recived when we met her at the local beach on her time off - another pay rise I think!! The meeting that was held the day after we arrived at a local restaurant was also brillant snd very information and much appreciated. All in all a fantastic holiday, thank you ad we will recommend you to our friends and relatives. Do not change anything as it was all perfect except for the ants.

Madelaine Esser, Sweden - Villa Sant'Agata
We had a very pleasant stay at "Le Capannelle". Wi will highly recommend it to others. It was a fresh and enjoyable apartment. Good service, meeting us at arrival and good service during the whole stay. We will probably came back. It seems like there are children staying there often. Maybe on the grass in front something for the children?

Hilary Anderson (UK) - Villa Sant'Agata
Yes, we had a lovely week and would be happy to recommend this apartment to others. Our only comment is that it would have been more helpful to have two single beds rather than a sofa bed in the second bedroom. Although the sofa-bed was fairy comfortable, it was probably narrower than a   normal single bed and our tall, well built friend found it a bit of squash. Otherwise, we found everything else very comfortable. Thabk you.

Steve Claydon (UK) - Villa Sant'Agata
We had a fantastic stay. We thought the area, views and location we great and the staff very friendly. We could not have wished for a better holiday. Thanks for a great holiday. Keep offering the same its great!!!

William,  Burlington, Ontario, Canada -Torre Barbara
Staff were kind and helpful. Room was excellent with a large walkout terrace and a view of the Amalfi Coast/Naple Bay that was awe inspiring.
Access was a little difficult being 180deg turn off the coast highway. Specific location instruction should be better with exact mileage stated from a fixed location like the centre of a town etc. ( for driving)

Anonymous, Ireland - Torre Barbara
Very pleasant hotel and location (main road aside), with generally very helpful staff.
Cliff-top location included the very busy main road between the hotel and the actual cliff and sea-view (which cost extra), which I had not anticipated.

Anonymous, United Kingdom - Torre Barbara
Clean modern well appointed rooms. Some with sea views. Guest car parking available.
You were not allowed to bring food onto the premises yet they only provided paninis for meals. It made it difficult as the hotel was positioned on a busy road with no footpath and restaurants close by were a 15min walk away. It would have been nice one evening just to sit on the fantastic terrace overlooking Naples with a pizza and wine one night rather than having to dine out all the time.

Anonymous, United Kingdom - Astapiana Villa Giusso
No TV, no traffic, no WiFi... outstanding hospitality, marvellous building (a well renovated palace!) and views, great room (a suite!) in the main part of the property... a remarkable place if you're looking for a real taste of the late Italian 19th century on a beautiful hill on the Sorrento peninsula... and for those who want to relax: we loved it!

Adam Hope Somerset UK - Astapiana Villa Giusso
We stayed at Villa Giusso in September 2008 and drove South from Rome using very good directions provided by Giovanna Rispoli. There were four of us in the party and after an easy 3 hour drive we arrived just before nightfall to be effusively greeted by Giulia , Giovanna’s mother. Having settled in to our rooms-ours was a small suite- we explored the house before eating in the refectory. Steeped in history the building retains a distinctly 18/19th century air but has 21st century bathrooms! The food was superb and sourced very locally but nothing had prepared me for the view I discovered early next morning: walking across the garden to some iron railings there below was the awe inspiring site of the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius lowering in the distance. I returned to this beautiful panorama every morning before breakfast!
One of the reasons for choosing Villa Giusso was its superb geographical position: we stayed 7 nights and visited Naples by boat, drove the Amalfi coast to Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and Pompeii, in the opposite direction, as well as exploring smaller places on the doorstep. Capri is a boat ride away. All of our trips were easily accomplished in a day. The weather was fabulously sunny apart from a day’s rain in Naples and returning to the Villa for drinks on the terrace while the sun set was indeed a pleasure.
The rooms were quirkily comfortable, Giulia’s guided tours of the house were thoroughly absorbing as was her walnut liqueur! The food was plentiful, well cooked and served although there were good local restaurants nearby. Overall the atmosphere was very friendly and we made several new friends around the refectory table.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Villa Giusso to anybody!

Anonymous, Otley, Yorkshire, England - La Ginestra Farm House
We stayed at La Ginestra, Vico Equense, in October 2004. We chose it as it was the last place on our stay and we thought it would be fairly handy for the autostrada and the trip back to Naples airport. Getting to Vico Equense was no problem, but then began a tortuous 10km drive into the mountains to La Ginestra, which actually sits 680 metres above Positano. However, the trip was worthwhile, as the views are breath taking, both of the bay of Naples and the Amalfi coast. Our room was fairly average, spacious, clean, with en-suite facilities and a shared balcony. La Ginestra is isolated so don't stay here if you are looking for nightlife. The tariff is half-board, which you'll need as you will not find much in the way of restaurants nearby. The welcome was very friendly and staff were very helpful. Stay here if you like walking; we walked to Positano down the old mule tracks, which took about two hours each way. Cost for two of us was 89 Euros per night for bed, breakfast and evening meal. And by the way, the trip to the airport took one and a half hours including traffic jams, etc.

Robert Arnold, London, United Kingdom - Villino Sorrentino
We did enjoy staying at Villino delle Arance - the apartment is clean and well maintained and the lady running the place was very friendly. It is not a high specification but served our needs well.
The location is on a busy road, but I can understand that it is not easy to find a self catering apartment so close to the city Centre.
Overall, a good apartment and we had a good time. One note, was that we found the bed to be quite hard and a little uncomfortable.
Summer in Italy were very good and we have no complaints.

Eleanor Ross, Whitechapel, United Kingdom - Villino Sorrentino
What a beautiful little villa this is! We had a wonderful two weeks here and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
The villa itself is modern and well constructed. There was plenty of space for the two of us and it was very well equipped.
Particularly appreciated were the powerful hairdryer in the bathroom, the iron and ironing board and the plentiful supply of English books in the living-room!
The real joy though was the outdoor area. The garden is beautifully set out and was full of flowers when we visited. The pool was great to use during the hot weather and was bigger somehow than we had expected!
There was very little noise from the road and none at all when you were inside. Any lack of panoramic view was made up for by the beautiful garden.
Your website is so much better than most of the others featuring villas in Italy and your prices are very reasonable. Once I booked you were always ready to help out with advice and answer any questions we had. We used the contacts on your website to arrange a taxi transfer from the airport and received excellent service from the polite and helpful Claudio. All in all I would be happy to recommend your company to anyone and hope to use you again in the future.

Linda Davison, Cork, Ireland - Villino Sorrentino
We all had a really great time at the villa.
The house itself was wonderful with personal touches that made it feel like a real home. The pool was excellent and everything was well maintained by the friendly but unobtrusive owner and son.
The location was on the edge of Sorrento itself which was fine, however we spent more time in Sant'Agnello, this small town was lovely to shop in for food with many small
italian stores and a regular market each week.
Our two weeks were great and we would recommend the villa to anyone who seeks a restful holiday within travel distance of spectacular sights.
Very impressed with the service and we will be using it again.

We did something we never do...
We went to the same place two summers in a row! Residence L'Incanto in Piano de Sorrento is absolutely breathtaking, reasonably priced, clean, and family run (Hats off to Antonio and his sister!). It is comprised of eight to ten apartments which have access to beautiful terraces overlooking the Sorrentino coastline. Some of the apartments are even lucky enough to have a private terrace. There is an amazing pool about 200m up the road which overlooks the coastline as well. There are many smaller beaches in the area that are perfect for children learning to swim. There's a family run grocery store at the start of the turn-off for the house with lots of goodies to eat. Make sure that you know where to turn off; it is easy to miss. Watch for the signs! A car is necessary, but well worth it.

Anonymous, Bucharest - Villa The Enchant
After we leaved a four star hotel in Sorrento because of some problems with the reservation, we arrived at Residence L'Incanto. I made the reservation through Internet, in two hours we had the keys and everything was OK. The room was beautiful, very new and clean. The pool is 100 meters away and very beautiful and for the ones who prefer the sea, the beach is 15 minutes away by car. You can find parking spots on the street. But what I liked the most was the terrace, at the last level of the building. From there you have a magnificent view of both the sorrentine coast and the gulf of Naples. I was very satisfied with the staying at L'Incanto and I would come next year also.

Claire Esposito (UK) - Rosaria Villa/Apartments
Communication was good at all times and everyone involved in our holiday process from booking to arriving and leaving our accommodation were fantastic.
Our apartment was clean and tidy and wonderfully spacious. Nicely kept garden and patio area for private use and the pool was great with lovely views.
The property landlords were extremely helpful and assisted in shoppping and helping us around the area when they could- which they didn't have to!
All in all a very lovely place and a good experience all round- recommended.

Pam and James Smith (USA) - Rosaria Villa/Apartments
Thank you Alfonso for all your help.
The Solaria Villa property and your services will be highly recommended by me.
We plan on coming again in the near future. The accommodation at Solaria Resort far surpassed our expectations!
The apartment was newly renovated and the owners spared no expense from their selection of tile floors, high end bathroom fixtures to the glass wall with 180 degree views of the sea and Capri.
We spent our holiday in the lap of luxury. We enjoyed midnight swims in the large pool over looking the sea.
Rosaria and Maurizio, the owners, were very gracious hosts as were their son and two daughters. They gave us recommendations for local restaurants, booked a boat to Capri and even called ahead to tell the proprietors that we were coming. We were invited to their home for a traditional Italian dinner. Their friend, Pasquale, cooked for us and we all dined on the Villa balcony over looking the sea. Dinner was superb!
We highly recommend the Solaria Resort. It is a fantastic place for a family vacation or a romantic get away for you and your spouse.

Peter Baldwin (UK) - Rosaria Villa/Apartments
Hi Alfonso, we had a superb time at Solaria Resort and have already recommended it to others. The appartment was excellent as were our hosts.
Excellent holiday accomodation and marvellous hosts, perfection.

Phil Casson (UK) - Rosaria Villa/Apartments
We had a very enjoyable time at the Solaria Resort. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful.
Alfonso's help and advice regarding our booking was very good, especially recommending that we were met in the local village in order to lead us to the villa. Finding the villa (even with Satnav) would have been difficult. A small sign would be useful!
Beautiful area to visit and a good base for visiting the Amalfi coast, Pompeii and Capri.

Cheryll Shaw (UK) - Rosaria Villa/Apartments
Solaria Resort has a fabulous location (albeit hard to find). The villa we stayed in was enormous and scrupulously clean, although very dated in terms of interior decor and furniture.
The plus points were:
1) The most amazing view of Capri
2) The lovely garden with beautiful olive trees and contemporary patio furniture
3) The fabulous pool - scrupulously clean with inflatables available and a view that made it appear an infinity pool
4) The very helpful Pasquale and Rosaria who went to every effort to offer assistance for every situation and sort out any problems from lack of power due to electrical storms, or provide milk for English tea!
The negatives:
1) The welcome hamper (or lack of it!) We were expecting bread, butter/margerine, bottled water, milk, coffee, teabags, sugar, toilet roll, washing up liquid, washing powder, plus as it was a "welcome" hamper...maybe some fruit and cheese/ham or similar.................
...........we got some a small box of dried spaghetti, a tin of chopped tomatoes, a jar of pasta sauce, about 10 scented teabags, a bottle of fizzy water and 2 small bottles of beer (there were 3 of us!)
2) Lack of Satellite TV - apparently a cable was broken, so we had to wait 2 days for a resolution. Have to say that Pasquale was extremely helpful and arranged for an electrician to resolve the problem as a matter of urgency.

we are thinking aboout booking a 2 week stay at casa solaria on the limonaia estate near massa lubrense at the end of May,early June. There will be 5 of us- 3 adults and 2 kids.We are planning on hiring a car and driving from Naples .Is it easy to get from Massa Lubrense to pompeii/herculaneum and to the Amalfi coast? Will the roads at that time of year be fairly quiet?Does anyone have any experience of staying at Solaria Resort? Thanks Richard.
Answer:
The drive from Napoli to at least Sorrento isn't bad at all and you'll need to keep some change in your pocket for the frequent casello autostradale toll gates. You can head on the A3 autostrada/freeway to Salerno/Reggio Calabria and then turn off at Castellammare di Stabia exit. Then I beieve that you can follow the brown and white signs for Sorrento. The drive to Massa Lubrense from Sorrento is luckily short however very curvy. The drive down to the Costiera Amalfitana becomes very challenging as the road is filled with non-stop curves and you should be aware of oncoming SITA buses and tourist buses who may honk as you both near the blind curves. Some people love the drive and some prefer to take the ferries which run among Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi during the Summer period you'll be here:

The drive from Massa Lubrense to Pompei isn't bad at all once you pass Sorrento. Again keep some change for the casello out of Pompei and back onto the A3 autostrada. Otherwise, you can try to take the back roads to reach the main road to Sorrento in Castellammare di Stabia.
The traffic shouldn't be too bad the beginning of June especially between Napoli and Sorrento. However, it's known that the traffic on the road between Positano and maybe Cetara is always a bit heavy due to slow drivers and general congestion. I personally believe that you won't encounter standstill August traffic.
Buon Viaggio....

Thanks very much for that very useful information. How long will it take to get from Napoli airport to Massa Lubrense by car? Our plane lands at 4PM.We hopre to get to the Villa before nightfall-Thanks Richard
Answer:
No problem. I think it might take between 45minutes-1hour from Napoli Capodichino Airport to Massa Lubrense with most of the driving time devoted to driving on city streets at lower speeds, etc. It might take around 20 minutes or so to collect your luggage and to fill out the paperwork at the rental car agency. Traffic on the A3 is pretty unpredictable with flow depending on accidents and the grand exodus before and after holidays (Christmas, Easter, and Aug 15 or July-Aug). I think you should be ok as you'll probably beat the crowds and should be at the Villa around 6pm maximum.
Before getting in the car, you might think about buying some bottled water and then using the facilities at Napoli Capodichino.
Buon Viaggio...

Dear Hilda
We arrived well at home on sunday afternoon. We want to thank you once again for your hospitality during our stay in your house. We appreciate very much our visit to your b&b.
When we left (with pain in my heart) and we arrived in Napoli, I was disappointed because Napoli was so busy and hectic. I didn't feel very comfortable in Naples when we went to the citycentre on friday evening. On saturday we returned and I felt more comfortable, but still it can not be compared with the region of sorrento. I'm very pleased I saw the hectic life in Napoli but I can't imagine I have to live there.
So, if you decide to come once again to Belgium, please contact me for a visit.
Greetings

This Bed and Breakfast is very elegant, unique. Its bedrooms have a terrace in the garden. The beds are very comfortable, the bed linen are graved with the blazon of the owner and the covers are in cachemire! Ms Hild will knock the door and bring the breakfast at the time you wish with a typical local breakfast. Books, TV, WiFi, are there for you.
The owner gave us very good suggestions for restaurants and bars.
All this and much more for less 80 Euros/night.
Great place, to recommend.

Dear Hilda, we had a wonderful holiday this year and have beautiful memories to treasure. We will certainly be able to visit Sorrento and Amalfi Coast again.
Thank you for all your efforts and a wonderful holiday.

PERFETTO!!!! PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!!”
Having traveled extensively throughout the world and being a discerning traveler ( not a Tourist!) one quickly gains an appreciation for the places that are truly a standout in service and overall ambience and I can unequivocally state that this defines Casa Relax. This is a small luxury boutique hotel with only six rooms of which we occupied half and it was magnificent! Their attention to detail, our comfort and our traveling whims were all met with the greatest eagerness to make our stay unforgettable. We had one day of snorkeling and exploring the isle of Capri on the Casa Relax Yacht and another evening fishing for squid ( on return around 1:00 am the chef who stayed to prepare our catch served us a spectacular pasta made with our just caught squid). All of the transfers and excursions planned by Casa Relax were exceptional….I could go on and on but suffice it to say we cannot wait to return to Casa Relax!.... To Rita, Olga, Giancarlo, Julio, Gaetano, Carmella and the entire Casa Relax family we thank you for your heartfelt warmth, memories never to be forgotten and congratulate you on achieving Perfection…Perfetto!!!

The name says much about the hotel. Relax. The owners, Olga & Rita are lovely. Gracious, friendly, welcoming and professional. The hotel is superb...easily a 5 star accommodation. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The air quality in the hotel was excellent. The new restaurant just next to the little store was superb. The best food we enjoyed in Italy!
The location is off the beaten path so the drive could be intimidating. The owners were very helpful with directions and offers of transportation. I have asthma so air quality is important. There was a lot of wood burning from wood burning ovens and agricultural burning in the area. I don't know if the agricultural burning is seasonal. The noise from Vespas settle down consistently at midnight.

)The people were so friendly and helpful, it was amazing here! If you only thought about tea, they already came with a big tray with a tea pot, delicious cookies, sweets, filled figs and so on. When entering the room, we already received a bucket with Prosecco and sweets. All the time they pampered us and gave us the feeling being king and queen. I would love to come back again!
They made all the other nice hotels I stayed in before look bad as none could reach the comfort and quality of this hotel at all

"First let me say that Villa White Emotion was better that the website pictures showed and often one is disappointed with the actual setting. Secondly, we loved the spaciousness and airiness of the villa. It is beautiful!!!! We also were very pleased with how helpful Luca was to us plus the evening meal he prepared for us was superb!!! The villa was extremely convenient for making day trips to all of the nearby attractions. If we are ever in the vicinity again there is no question where we will stay. Joseph"

"Hello, We had a great time. The address was a little hard to find but once there we really enjoyed it. The house was very nice, great balcony, great pool and the views were breathtaking. Regards, David."

"Hello, I've been wanting to send you an email telling you how wonderful our experience at Villa White Emotion was, I just got so busy when we returned home. Working with you was great- You answered all our questions and the process went very smooth. This villa  was everything we expected and more. The home was lovely and very clean but the real winner had to be the views. I was a little nervous about choosing a house for a party of nine, well everyday they were thanking me for finding such a wonderful place. Owner was also a great host. He thoroughly explained everything about the house and even helped us rent a private boat for a day trip to Capri. It was the vacation of a lifetime for all of us and we all want to go back. Thanks for the Privilege, Jean"
