By Car: Motorway until Naples toll, then take the Napoli - Salerno motorway exit Castellamare di Stabia, follow signs for Vico Equense and then directions to Monte Faito.
By Train: Naples central station, then by car (see above), by coach or by the Circumvesuviana train to Vico Equense, then a bus 'Circolare destra' to Moiano: Vico, Bivio, Seiano, Arola, Ticciano, Moiano and then Monte Faito. Or 'Circolare sinistra' to Moiano: Vico, Massaquano, Moiano, Monte Faito.
By Air: Naples Capodichino airport, then by car (see above), by coach or by the Circumvesuviana train to Vico Equense, then a bus to Monte Faito (see above).
By Train: (Circumvesuviana) once in Naples: Napoli, Ercolano, Pompeii, Castellammare di Stabia, Vico Equense (40 mins) then a bus from Vico Equense to Monte Faito.

Check-Out: 12:00 - 13:00 hours
Cancellation: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and extra beds: All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.
Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.
Pets: Pets are allowed.

Al Castagno is ideal for lovers of walking and the outdoors. From Monte Faito it is possible to take a chair-lift direct to Castellamare di Stabia where there are thermal baths and easy access by train to Pompeii, Sorrento, the local Islands and the Amalfi coast. It also is possible to make a day trip to Rome, reaching the capital within approximately 2 hours by train or car. We can also offer transfers from Naples Capodichino Airport and excursions around the peninsula and Riviera, however we do recommend that you hire a car.

Al Castagno Bed & Breakfast has been recently refurbished and is located 1100 metres above sea level in Monte Faito, a borough of Vico Equense.
Surrounded by chestnut trees and pine trees, Al castagno is perfect for people who enjoy peace and quiet and getting in touch with nature.
You can take advantage of the footpaths to take a peaceful, panoramic stroll in the forest. A wide lounge with a fireplace provides and welcoming and cosy atmosphere.
There is a large dining room where delicious breakfasts, including local produce, is provided.
All the bedrooms are well furnished an ensuite bathroom, TV, fridge and a private balcony. The rooms are all double, with an optional single bed for a child.
